Fortune & Glory: Drag Along-a-But I’m a Cheerleader

Fortune & Glory Film Club invite you to join us to watch this kitsch queer classic, with a twist!
But I'm a Cheerleader is a 1999 American satirical romantic comedy film directed by Jamie Babbit and written by Brian Wayne Peterson. Natasha Lyonne stars as Megan Bloomfield, a high school cheerleader whose parents send her to a residential inpatient conversion therapy camp to cure her lesbianism.
Co-hosts, creators and all-round garbage people Nana Arthole & Marilyn Sane are two drag artist sister wives based in Nottingham. Working together since 2015, they've established a reputation for their riotous rapport full of quick quips, audacious absurdities, and snappy storytelling. Together they've performed with collective DirtyFilthySexy, host a wonderfully ridiculous Drag Bingo each month at Rough Trade Nottingham, and produce the Unnamed Drag Podcast. Their latest venture is hosting Gladrags, a club-night celebrating music, fashion & culture. Follow them at Unnamed Drag Productions
Basically, alone they're nothing, but together; they're worse...
